Trial Holes for Insurance Purposes

If there are leaks in the piping system there is a possibility that the water has soaked in around the foundation. This is one of the main reasons for cracking in houses. IDT in conjunction with an engineer expose in and around the foundation to establish if the leak has affected the soil around the foundation.

Normally a number of holes would be required for the engineers to establish if there are problems with the soil under the foundation. Boards are used to cover the excavations for safety purposes.
